With all the renovations and upcoming new areas on both malls, the big question stays - which is the better mall in your opinion?

If you are familiar with both malls, you'll prefer SM North cause it's easier to go around, more choices and better shops. But if you like class and space, you can go for Trinoma.

I guess SM North has more access than Trinoma and I believe it has more cheap shops than Trinoma. I also agree that Trinoma has more classy shops than SM North. Thanks!

I still have to say that I would go for TRINOMA. My cousin who used to work in Ayala Foundation has been a fan of Ayala Malls because she said that there malls have a nice and well-managed Materials Recovery Facility where all the recyclables go. :)

Wow! That's surely an FYI for me. It's good to know that some malls still manage to care for the environment. Thanks!

You know what will be best? When the new SM North is done, they should build a connecting bridge for both the malls and officially making it bigger than MoA!!!

From what it looks like, I think you're right. I believe we have much to expect from SM. Let's just wait and see. Thanks!

Trinoma --- they offer wide variety of products than what the SM North Edsa offer. I prefer going to Megamall than go to North Edsa.

Trinoma is presented in the public with class and with comfort. I prefer to shop and visit trinoma because i feel comfort in its ambiance and you could already choose a variety of shop to visit. Its a one stop mall that you can already find everything there from clothing, leisure and food. Ambiance is with class.

I agree. Trinoma has more class than SM. But recently, SM has been upgrading their mall and I guess we can expect better from them. Thanks!

I never been to Trinoma and I have been once in SM North EDSA. I hope I can tell which is better. Anyway, since Trinoma is new, I bet its a lot more better than any old malls out there. lol. I imagine that to fit to the latest in technology and architecture, maybe Trinoma is more exciting. I'll catch up with the development of this discussion and learn from you guys. I think this discussion is interesting.

Trinoma is more of a "high-end" mall while SM caters to the average individual. At least that's how I view it. I suggest you visit them both so you can see for yourself. :D

I like Trinoma better, because SM North I find it so boring there already. I grew up going to SM North and after all those years, I find nothing new in there. But in Trinoma, I find to be more cooler, filled with better stores and I like the place itself. So whenever I am in Manila, I make it a point to go to Trinoma every now and then and I see something new even though there is not really that something. So in response to your question. I think Trinoma is better than SM North. SM IMO wins only over Ayala Malls at Mall of Asia, other than that they lose to Ayala Malls. Lol.

Hehe.. I hope you come and visit again because you'll be in for a surprise.. SM is cooking up a storm that will somehow level their class with Trinoma. The winner here is definitely us. Thanks!

Trinoma...definitely better. I never liked SM north. So hard to go there. I would rather go to Mega Mall than North.

Trinoma looks better but SM is doing lots of renovations and additions. I guess we'll know which mall will be better in a couple of months. Thanks for posting.

If you look at SM now you would see that it really has something wonderful in store for its patrons. They've also added a new building (well not exactly.. it was the annex building before) so expect more shops to open.
