How long do you usually wear a pair of shoes. I wear mine till they fall apart which is usually about six month or so. I just don't like buying shoes. You have to try 10 pairs before you find one that fits, especially if you wear size 10 . And havev you ever noticed that your feed get bigger. I used to wear size 9 before

I think it had been about 3 years since I have bought a pair of shoes. I have 4 backless tennis shoes One pair is like new ( I don't want to break them in) 2 pair are stating to look worn and one pair that is soso. I have a pair for dress and a pair of sandals that need to take a hike. I hate shoes shopping because it's so hard to find something that won't hurt my feet. I can't wear those flip flops because they are too stiff. I have arthritis and my feet are very touchy. I'm not sure if our feet grow unless we put on weight. But I do know that different make of shoes come in different sizes depending on where they are made. I have 2 pair of kids shoes that are the exact same style and they say they are the same size but they aren't

I have to wear shoes. It hurts my feet too much to go barefooted.

My feet hurt all the time too, that's another reason I don't like to wear shoes.

I do the same. If it is comfortable I will wear it until it falls apart. I guess mine lasts more than a year or two. I prefer to buy something more expensive but which is durable. © ronaldinu 2008

I get my shoes from a company that sells vegan shoes. They are made out of a material called lorica. The shoes sadly don't last long, about eight months at the most. I can pay half the cost of them and they come back looking nearly as good as new. However I can only do that once because my shoes get too small for me. I find that most shoes are uncomfortable or simply are slip on, slip off and then I trip over. I have a size 8 shoe and 9 is the largest size for a lady. I know a man that has size 13 and most shoes in the men's range goes up to 12. He rarely finds shoes large enough for is feet.

After I had my daughter I noticed my feet got bigger. By a 1/2 size. That put me in a 9 and 1/2. Depending on the shoe I can still wear a 9. I wear a pair for about 6 months time. But I also wear a different pair once in a while. Makes the shoe last longer.

Hi missybear. I hate buying shoes. I usually wear them until they fall apart. I have a pair of tennis shoes that the bottoms are torn off. My husband says I need to get some new ones and I said, "they don't have any holes yet" LOL. I don't have very many shoes. I have a pair I wear to work outside in, a pair to wear when I got out somewhere and a couple pair of dress shoes. I hate trying on shoes and breaking in new shoes. I used to wear a size 5 1/2 or 6 now I wear a 6 1/2.
