I forgot that I enlisted this item among products I use.. (^_^") Well, this one would mostly be known here in our country, the Philippines. Aside from the usual rubber strap and sole, there are also different designs from this brand. Kind'a affordable and would last a considerable time though, using them on demanding circumstances would give it wear and tear, similar with other brands of course when you over use them. Well, when I think about it, I can't seem to start anything if I can't find those sandals of mine. I mean, it seems part of my routine to wear them before doing anything. One time, I couldn't find them, probably a brother of mine had to go out and in a rush, just wore mine and went off wherever it was that he was headed. I really couldn't go well with my brother's sandals which were left at home, I mean, it feels different since its been accomodating my bro's feet for a long while, it got molded for his comfort I guess. How about you guys? Wear sandals at home or anywhere close when your going out? Would go for the branded ones or prefer comfort and ignore the price tag? Thanks for spending a moment on reading (^_^ )

Hmm, I think Ive had only 3 pairs of them all my life. Not at the same time though. Always used Islander slippers. Always in the navy blue color with the strap thats an inch wide..I think. Would only replace them when the soles seem to be too thin. The current one I have is already 2 years old but still doesnt show signs of wear and tear. Then again, I dont use sandals/slippers outside the house that often. I actually prefer to use rubber shoes whenever Im going out and Im more comfortable running around town, doing errands, or just going to school with my rubber shoes. As for the brand, I go for a compromise of both comfort and price tag. I wouldnt want to buy anything over the top and I dont go for the trends. As long as the quality and comfort is great and within a reasonable price then Id go for it. That applies more for the shoes though. Like I said, I dont wear slippers that often so I dont mind settling for the cheap ones. Would prefer Islander though since it lasts long...at least in my case.

Would it be due to the stock available are always blue or its just among your personal preferences when it comes to that kind of slippers? Since you did say that you don't use much of it, I guess it could go longer than those two years (^_^ ) Going 'round town or doing errands wearing rubber shoes seems alright. However, just going to school, you wear rubber shoes? So you have those shoe lockers at school or something like that? Yeah, the brand is sure well endorsed even by celebrities.. then again, there are also those other brands that I have seen when I was still small.. I think one was Rambo.. really think soled rubber slippers if I recall right..

Yeah, slippers is a good gift to give, if it fits, surely the one who gets it can use it and the one who gives such a gift won't have to worry if it would be used or not at all. You happen to wear a school uniform when going to school or its one of those schools that doesn't have requirements like that? I looked for one and its named RAMBBO, a pair that my nephew couldn't use at all..

Its a personal preference if the Islander in question would be the same model. Wouldve preferred a black strap on the one that I have right now but it was already out of stock when my friend got back. Its a Christmas gift from her so Im not complaining.^_^ We dont have shoe lockers or any other kind of lockers for that matter. Yep, I wear rubber shoes to school and thats not just PE. Just more comfortable with rubber shoes than slippers, same as I dont wear shorts even at home. Rambo...sounds familiar (not pertaining to the movies.hehe), think I might recall some faint images on a commercial..

I used to have one and it lasted for a really long time. I do hope that these slippers should be more appreciated here than all of those imported flip flops that are almost the same the only difference is the price (because of shipping costs)I always feel comfy when i wear slippers and for me as long as it's comfy cheap ones are ok too.

I love Islander, compared to the new (and expensive) slippers. I have to say that Islander is one durable slippers and it's like a wash and wear slippers.

Islander Sandals - URBAN - This would be probably one of those sandals that you can stil use and not feel uncomfortable even when wet.

An all weather sandal with a soft sole. The URBAN sandal gives you the consistency of its spartan sandal plus the benefit of a soft sole combination. Definitely a must have for outgoing individuals for smooth and or rugged terrain. - islander.ph
Their molded ones are rather uneasy for me whenever they get wet, I mean, I let them dry for a while before using them again. Those rubber slippers on the other hand are what I actually think of those wash and wear types (^_^ )
