Love Knows No Limit

I just came across a really touching Youtube video and I thought I'd like to share this story with members here. It is a story of 2 young men John Rendall and Ace Berg who bought a young lion cub at the Harrods in 1969. Cramped up in a small cage and miserable, they decided to bring it home. A local vicar allowed the cub to play in the church ground and quite timely this cub was then named Christian. As with all of us, time past and soon the cub was really growing to become a full grown lion. Yes, he was beginning to be too big for their flats. With no choice, they decided to reintroduce this grown cub back to Africa, and managed to do so. A year later, they decided to pay their pet Christian a visit. They were being discouraged as their Christian has become the head of his own pride and would be completely wild by then and may not have recognized them. The men undaunted they went anyway and after searching Christian for hours just have a look at this touching video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adYbFQFXG0U It is just such a heart warming scene and the statement: "Love knows no limits and true friendships last a lifetime" took on a new dimension in my life here. What about your views and comments about love and true friendships here? Do you have further views and / or comments that you may want to make here?

Thank you for sharing this beautiful video with us. It was amazing to see the reunion with the lion. It just goes to prove once more that animals do remember things, and how they were treated by special people in their life.
