I would like to share these few things that I have clarified with myLot for the benefit of those who might be wondering about the same thing. The reason for these clarifications is to make sure that we do not violate the guidelines on myLot. The fist question that I asked them was about the usage of our profile. Are we allowed to put anything any referral links of the sites that we have joined on our profile.? According to myLot, Yes, and that is the only place where we can advertise our referral links. So, in other words, the profile page is there for us to use as we like provided no nudity and other xxx stuffs. So for those who have lots of programs and are looking for referrals, make use of your profile page to advertise your programs so that others can check them out. My second question to myLot was about putting a link to my blog in a discussion that I started. According to myLot, this is allowed as long as the link is related to the discussion. If not, the discussion and the replies would be deleted if the link that you put there has nothing to do with your discussion or your response. So, make use of this ability as you can drive some good traffic to your blog provided that you have written a relevant post in there and you want people from myLot to be able to get all the details in you blog.
