i wonder who had not done it before. me and most of my friends had done it. lesser for exam but majority for tests. it was easy to do so esp. in collegue and in university. the large lecture room made it hard for the lecturers or tutors to keep a close watch at us and we guys always managed to cheat and copy each other. we even have a motto 'united we scored, separated we drown'. haha. we had many ways to cheat for those exams or tests involving multiple choice answer, we would use items to indicate the answers. eg, those triangular shape liquid paper for answer A, blue pen for answer B, calculator for answer C, Ruler for Answer D and eraser for Answer E. so whenever, our classmates need help, he or she would use his fingers to indicate the question number and we would hold the above items as answers to him. some of us would hide slips of paper in pencil boxes, hid post-it and paste it underneath our tables etc. So have u ever cheated in test or exams? were u ever caught?

haha. it is ok, m8. i do too and at least 95% of those i knew did. it is in the mentality and also we found it exciting and fun esp when we passes slip of papers around. it is like building teamwork and uniting ourselves, students as one and against the school system. luckily for me, i was not caught b4 but some of my friends were and got straight zero for the paper but they still ended up copying for the next exam..haha. and some of them are doing well now. it is more for the fun rather than anything

I think it is really in appropriate of you to mention all this. I have personally never cheated in my exams. I believe that I'll just do my best in the exams with whatever I am capable. Its fine if I don't score well or pass a paper, what's important I know that I did it on my own capability, not because I was good at cheating. The whole issue of cheating and people getting caught because of cheating is really not wise. Exams were created to be a sort of benchmark for people's capability. It really defeats the purpose. In the end of the day, those who really LOSE are those who were not able to absorb knowledge. What matters later in life is people's ability to perform well in their job, not whether they aced a paper or passed a paper in school. I hope people will stop cheating, for their own sake. No offense, just telling my thoughts

it ok. i dun take offence. we cheated because we were rebellious and waanted to see if we can get away. among our friends,my schoolwork was probably the better ones and so i became something like a focus for them to rely on. the feeling was actually thrilling and exciting at that time. it was more out of fun rather than anything else and also probably, we guys do not bother about revision at all. my friends are doing well, u will be surprised. one of them made it to Oxford and graduated with a 1st class honour and we were partner in crime at that time. another is a lawyer while the rest were in mgt and supervisory positions. anyway, we do not think that exams or test are a good benchmark for a person capability. some people are exam smart but have low eq and iq. they made it academically thru hardwork and rely on memory. Like my dad always said, if u dun do well in exam, it does not mean u are stupid or not working hard enough. it may mean u need more luck next time as you may have cover 80-90% of your syllabus but the exam topic that came out is the 10% that u choose not to revise..haha.
