Who is Your Favourite Author.

That is way cool that you like Danielle Steele books and she has never been one of the authors I like,but my mother loves her books,and thinks she is a very talented author,and my mother right now has all of her books except for like nineteen of them and for her birthday me and my fiance got her an autographed picture and a letter from Danielle Steele by going to her website and emailing her,and we are hoping to get her some Danielle Steele books for Christmas,when it comes to me,right now my favorite author is Vilhelm Moberg because me and my fiance are reading a book called Upon A Good Land which is the second book in a series of four about a group of emigrants who travel from Sweden to North America in the 1850's and we are almost done with the book,but we do not want to finish it until we find the third book which is called The Settlers.

I would have to say that there are several authors that I would qualify as my favorite authors. One of them being Agatha Christie. She writes such intriguing murder mysteries that it is difficult for me not to read them, or enjoy them. I also enjoy reading Kathy Reich's novels. The first one, last summer, I read I got so captivated that it was difficult for me to stop, when I had to go to work, let's say. And I have been enjoying her books ever since. The third and last of my favorite authors is a French Canadian author, Christine Brouillet. She writes detective novels for youths, teens, and adults. I have been enjoying her work since I was about ten or eleven.

Hi, For a time I just stuck to Danielle Steel. She is good. As a kid, I loved reading books by Enid Blyton. God rest her soul. She lit up our childhood with her books. I had a bad habit (though I didn't think so then) of picking any of her books from my school friends bags, reading it and then returning it quietly. I enjoyed reading books by James Hardley Chase too. I like to read books written by Mario Puzo too. He makes it so interesting, I don't feel like stopping until I finish. My favourite author is Stephen King i have nearly all his books. He is a very good writer. I also like Dean Koontz especially his Odd Thomas series. With both these authors i find that i get very involved with the story and can't put the book down.

I love Nora Roberts but i am not much of a fan of Danielle Steele. As for my favorite author, I don't have just one. I love Jane Austen, J R Ward, Laurell K Hamilton, Stephen King, and so many others.

I like both of them and also Dean Koontz and Stephen King.

i do like danielle steel but i find her last few books rather predictable, but i do like some of her earlier stuff like message from nam and crossings (two of my favourite books). i seldom read fiction (i am a history fanatic) but some of her books i will pick up when i need a break.

My favourite is Khaled Husseini. I also love Dan Brown.
