where do you start a discussion?

yes this is a nice question..first i will respond to a discussion..while responding i will get some idea about to create a discussion..that time i will choose a inrest regarding to that..then i will create a discussion..have a nice time in mylotting

I always start a discussion from " general discussion" , I even don't have a try from " interest" . If "interest" really can get more responses , I will change this habit. *_*

wangkai I start new discussion under my interests and whatever suits the topic best I start it under that interest. I hardly start any discussion as general. I feel general discussion gets lost under loads of other discussions but if you start it under category it comes up when someone browses through that specific category.

I think we should grouping it to related topics to the topic that we want to post, and by time, if you have pretty much of friends they will response you instead of seeing their interested discussion before or after, friend lists does really influence our discussion responses

Hi Normally I very rarely post. I prefer to reply. The reason is simple I find so many interesting topics here that I'm tempted to participate on those rather than trying to post. But, yes I have observed that if one start a discussion in interest groups, he gets better response mainly beacuse most of the people stay in their respective groups and try to improve ranking in their interest group. So they try to reply as much as they can from their group. Whereas, if one starts in General group, he'll get response from, say visitors. There in general group people come and go but in interest group they stay. So chances of getting response in 'General ' is less.
