Are PTC sites addictive?

When I first discovered that you could make money online by clicking on ads, I really was excited. I could not wait to get on my computer to click away. Then eventually the realization came to me that it takes forever to get to payout (in most cases) and that just when you are about to make payout, the site goes belly-up (fails). May be they are not all scams but just that the economy affects these businesses too. I used to have a lot of luck with Bonus Mail but lately there have been fewer points to make and it takes longer to get the number of points you need to cash out and earn a good prize. Even now that I know it is hard to make a lot of money at it, I still like the "rush" that I get when I click onto a site and there are paid-to-click ads waiting for me. Sometimes (more and more) there are no ads to click on and I get discouraged. I keep an Excel record of my earnings, etc. and it makes me feel good to be organized in this way. I think there is something in a lot of us who end up clicking every day that is an "addictive" quality. Better to be addictive with this than other things that are not so good for your health, though.

Well Aby, I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. I hope you do eventually get paid. What is with these sites? Don't they have a conscience or a heart? How can they do this to people who trust that all the effort and time they put out will end up with a reward at the end. May be it is a big game to some; to make money off of other people's suffering. I hope we can continue to do well with MyLot. I think they have a good reputation and not end up being one of those "flaky" failures. Wishing you better luck ahead.

Yes it is rather addictive.I have been in that state as well, but now I treat it just as another hobby
