Oh!! I have no kids but I have nieces and nephews. They don't like to eat vegetables either. They preferred to go hungry than to eat vegetables. You are right!! kids are always asking fried chicken, beef steak, and other types of meat but never with vegetables. Good that your kids eat bitter melon?

i do not have kids of my own but i live with my cousins and they do not vegetables at all. in fact they do not eat ral food, period. all they like to eat is junk food, chips, cookies, icecream, and so on. this really frustrates me because even though i like to cook, i hate to see perfectly good food go to waste. but i try my absolute best to see that they eat some form of vegetable, even if it is just one bite

My son likes few vegetables, but my daughter will eat just about any vegetable you put in front of her. I try to stick to the ones my son will eat. They both love broccoli, so it gets served pretty often.

i agree that vegetables are very important and i am a big fan but my son is not. i do get him to eat sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, peeled apples and fresh apple juice in our juicer but beyond that he hates the texture of fruit especially and the taste of most vegetables. he will eat some tomatoe sauce but does not like alot of it on his pasta or pizza. i supplement his diet with vitamins, herbs and minerals. when i cook i use alot of parsley which is also good for you and he does not realize it is a herb, just an ingredient.

hi dong. good thing my son likes to eat vegetables. although, he also like chicken, hotdogs, tocino, sometimes he will tell me, mommy anong ulam? then i'll answer say fried chicken. then he'll tell me "dapat yung gulay. yung pangpalinaw ng mata" it makes me happy that he wants to eat vegetables. i also tell him always that whatever is on the table, he must eat it, because he is so lucky that he have something to eat. happy posting!

I wasn't fond of vegetables myself when I was young as well. I used to fall asleep on the table because my other sibs wants me to eat the vegetable on my plate which I don't want to. My kids are choosy as well but there are times they just have no choice but to eat it. Our Househelp mostly cooks food with vegetables and I am glad she does so the kids would be able to eat it.

My kids have always ate vegetables. They used to eat just about anything that you gave them in vegetables, but now they are a little pickier. Up until a couple of years ago, they would eat spinach, asparagus, etc. Now that they are older they are a little pickier. They still eat a lot of vegetables and they make sure that they have several fruits too. They do eat junk food but they also seem to eat a fairly balanced diet too. Vegetables are important to our health and we should make sure that our kids get plenty of different types of foods and we should be sure to cook foods from all the major food groups in order to make sure that they grow strong and healthy.

Yes, I introduced vegetables early to my children and keep emphasising that vegetables are the most important nutritious ingredient in their food and will not accept any excuses to not eat vegetables. My kids like all the veggies and so I don't have problems making them eat veggies.

My daughter eats most veggies. She even likes a few. We do have an agreement though. She intensely dislikes green beans. So I don't make them for her. But she has to eat whatever other vegetable I put down. It has worked out so far.

Oh i was just thinking about how lucky I am for my kids. They eat anything! meat, chicken, fish and yes even vegetables, they also like fruits and chocolates from time to time and they don't drink soft drinks. It easy fro them because I would just say to them that this vegetable is your favorite and they would gladly eat it, or if it still does not work I would say that this is chicken not vegetables (but it is actually )mY kids is not fond of frozen goods. sometimes I wonder, they do eat dried fish, tomatoes and even burong kanin( you have been to my hometown so most likely you know what is buro) IN fact it is through them that I have learned how to eat some vegetables that I don't eat. When I cook I usually gave them the vegetables that I don't like and they would gladly eat it which leads me to wonder and then I would try itt and find it is not actually bad tasting

Hi dong1970. My kids are all grown now but when they were home, my daughter would eat most vegetables that I fixed. My one son only likes corn, green beans and peas. Now that he's older I think he tries other vegetables, but that's what he liked when he was younger and still at home.

My Grand-Twins love vegetables, the other sisters and brother don't. I think it is ironic that they like vegetables. I love to see them eat vegetables. They are good for you.

My kids eat their veggies. They would rather not,but we dont allow any desserts or after dinner treats if they dont eat the good foods for meals first. This has worked great for us. They are almost always willing to down a few veggies if it means a snack before bedtime.

My kids eat fruits and vegetables but unfortunately all three have different likes and dislikes. I'm not a short order cook. They either eat what's on the table or they go hungry. They eventually learn to eat the 'nasty' stuff because if they go hungry they also go straight to bed or don't get to participate in something else fun planned for the day. There is some stuff they eventually even developed a taste for. Now my husband... he is the pickiest eater I have ever encountered, lol....

Hi dong1970. I am very fortunate that both of my kids eat vegetables. They love vegetable soup, fried squash or stewed squash, broccoli, okra, greens, etc. There are not many vegetables that they will not eat. I have never heard of Ampalaya. I will have to do a internet search to find information on it. Happy MyLotting!

Firstly, i do not have kids yet but i have noticed that many kids do not like to eat vegetables. Esp kids nowadays, they are quite fussy about food and they are always asking for fast food. Vegetables are good for health generally and it will balance the % of red blood cells in our body, the lacking of eating vegetables will cause our body to have more red blood cells.
