Do you think that at times the best actors tend to do unnecessarily the best

Yes, sometimes to keep up their reputation and many a times to out do a fellow competitor. The recent body building race menace did not spare even an actor like Aamir and there he goes bare and brawny, with hoardes of tatto on his body. One of the tattoos on his body was bearing a cell ph. number and it has caused so much of harrassment to a lady doctor as it coincided with her actual ph no. She just couldn't figure it out when she got over flooded with calls from strangers who dialled the number seeing on his tattoo. The news channels were all filled with this news. Just imagine her plight !!

They do and it seems to be glaringly evident. It spoils the scene and even takes away the attention from the other actors who would invariably have done a great job. Striving to remain the best is not easy and some sure look foolish while doing so. BTW Bala: Wish you a Happy and Wonderful Diwali.

Some of them do become complacent my friend and know that they have the stardom in the bag as it were and feel that they don't have to give 100% any more, knowing that they are famous, but still they are in the limelight! Even in their private lives, so they have to give the best performance they can offer, but no publicity is bad publicity as they say! The press are quick to jump on star's reputation if they fail in any way so for this reason I think actors do their best for fear of being slated or criticized by the media.

The fear of losing the star status is killing. Fame is an amazing thing, once someone is into it, no one can stop him from doing stuffs that supposedly ensure them to be at that position. Actors, in fear of losing their status, sometimes push through scenes that do not demand their presence atall! And that makes them overdoing it spoiling the pretty face of the scene.

Hi bala...am sure that that does happen..no-one will ever know the answer to that one for sure though I would think ubless they have done acting..it wouldn't surprise me if we do have some actors on here too..littleol

It is easier to reach the top than to stay at the top.The actors have to undergo lot of struggle and make many sacrifices, to reach the number one position.This brings with a reputation and certain expectations from them by the public,who can make or break their numero uno position.So the actors have to give out their best at all times.The public always expects some gimmicks or dialogues from them,and if they fail to rise up to the occasion ,the actors will find themselves dethroned within no time bacsue the public will look else where ,since there is no derth of good actors,at any time....

Yes. They are very good actors and they do not even have to try alot of times.

Yes, a great actor goes beyond what is expected of them. They need to demonstrate that they are still number 1.
