do you know anything about Mastercraft?

my husband received just this morning a yellow business envelope and it was for me. i was quite surprised because i was not expecting something like that. when i looked at it, the sender is Mastercraft which from the usa. i was really intrigued about it so i opened it rightaway. it says that i am an affiliate of their company and will be doing referrals and will receive a dollar for every referral sent to them. it says on the manuscript that they are offering technical and financial assistance to those who wish to obtain a visa and overseas employment. there was no name of any of the employees of the said company. there was only an email address to contact. it also has referral forms for me to distribute and on it, there is a clause "please include five us dollars for postage and handling". well, i don't have any idea how they got my personal details. i am sure that i haven't encountered that company before. so, please fellow lotters, advise me regarding this matter. thanks! :)

I have never ever heard of that company. It rather sounds like a scam to me. I would not send anyone any money. Usually that is a sign that the company is trying to scam you out of your money. Be careful with that one.

i think its a scam,based on your story, i really think its one of the scam, and by the way you just said that you dont remember membering in that kind of stuffs, and also its very awkward and you would really think things because they want money from you which was the 5 dollar for the stamp and postage, so i just think its quite obvious, or try to make a research on it, maybe you could find more appropraite answers.happy lotting...

I f you did not ask for it, enquire for it, make contact with the company in anyway or otherwise invite the information then you should assume that it is a scam. They are asking for ionly $5 to start - next time they will ask for more money and so it will continue.
Unless you can verify where they heard about you and how they intend to make you money and if you can find genuine positive feedback on the company elsewhere on the internet I would not touch it.
Things that look too good usually are! Besides you do not need any new stress in your life just before you have your baby!

yes, you are right. i don't need things like that for now. i still have alot of more other important things to do and i'd rather respond to discussions here in mylot than look for referrals. i am really just quite confused and buffled about the whole thing.
