wendeys scam???

did anyone else here about the wendeys scam? my sister came home from school and said her teacher said that for wendeys 60th anniversary they were having a huge discount on everything like 10 cent hamburgers, 25 cent cheeseburgers, etc. Well anyways we went to wendeys and they had a sign saying it was an email going around and was a fraudulent. Anyone else here about this?

Yes! One of my friends sent me that email yesterday. Later I got another email from her apologizing and explaining that it was a scam. At least Wendy's is aware of it and has a sign to let everyone know about it. I don't think a lot of places would do that.

Hi Jamesgrub Nope I havent heard about the Wendy's scam. That
is atrocious what they will do with scamming.Poor Wendys as
everyone would be coming in wanting the ten cent hamburgers, and 25 cent cheeseburgers, lol.It just goes to show you show check
'out any claim on emails these days as there are so many
frauds around that you could get caught. lol

i know thats why i never put money into anything. ive been ripped of once and its not happening again.
