Have you really watched the part where they are floating on the wood in the ocean. Did you notice that rose sais "I'll never let go" then she lets go of him and he sinks into the ocean?

I have seen the movie Titanic several times and it is a really good movie even though it is a really long movie and takes several hours to watch which means you have to have a lot of free time to sit down and watch it in one day,and the ending is very sad,and every time I watch it,it makes me want to cry,I do not think it is meant to be funny, because it shows the love between Jack and Rose, and Rose did not want to let Jack go,and I wish she had been able to save him,but I think it is supposed to represent that he will always be with her in her heart, and that she will never forget him,or stop thinking about him.

It's not really meant to be funny. As someone alread said, it's more of a metaphor. Even though Jack is gone, he'll always live on inside of Rose. She never let go of the memories the two shared together. And as you can see at the end of the movie with the pictures, she went on to do the things she and Jack talked about doing. Rose never let go of Jack.

I have watched the movie about the Titanic several times. I think the movie is good and sad, they are airing segments of it on the Weather Channel this week. There is one lady that is living that was actually on the ship, and she is telling her story.

Hmmm. I think the line is somewhat metaphorical in nature -- like though she has let gone of the hands the thing is she would not let go of her love for Jack. I find it dramatic. The movie.
