Last night my daughter and I took my 22 month old grandson on a shopping trip. It always amazes me that even at such a young age he can easily recognize different television characters. Spongebob is one of his favorite shows. He loves watching that silly sponge and his friends. I love the show too. With the cold weather coming our first stop was the outerwear. He immediately spotted an adorable blue and yellow spongebob hat and mitten set. I tried it on and it fit him perfectly. We moved on to the coats hoping to get one that would match the hat but no go. We chose a green coat and the hat is not a match at all but the baby was not going to part with the hat. We selected a matching hat for more proper occasions. For play he can be unmatched. We also needed to get him some warmer pajamas. The first sleeper I spotted was spongebob. Into the carriage it went. Luckily we found that one because there was a limited selection in his size. I wouldn't mind a nice pair of footed jammies myself. The weather is getting cold fast.
