i could found there are morthy lengthy and about a page of new discussions and i hardly remove time for mylotting and i really dont feel like responding to those new discussions which are so lengthy as all my time goes only in the reading and when will i respond and write more for the day. and i find this kind for most of the discussions here. i just skip this and find some other discussion where i can read and also write. what do you do when you find this kind of lengthy discussions ? i know there are people who spend whole day on mylotting and i think they have sufficient time and dont mind reading these kind of lengthy discussions, is my thinking right ? correct me if i am wrong.

I don't normally write a response to a lengthy discussion. I tend to lose focus very easily. As such a lengthy story puts me off. In order to do justice to the poster, I know that I need to understand the entire discussion before I even begin to respond. Even with short discussions, there are times when I read twice or thrice to perfectly undertstand what is needed. So imagine the time spent if I were to do a lengthy one. No offence to those who like to write lengthy discussions!

i know it happens sometimes that we lose concentration and we will not be able to understand sometimes. that is one of the reasons why i skip those lengthy discussions. and every person is free to write however lengthy discussions they like and it is not a fault and it is their point of view and this is ours and all people are different from eachother and has full right to think differently and one cannot be similar to other and may be sometimes our thoughts tally and sometimes not, so everything is fine as far as it is healthy.

jeez, are you the captain? because we are riding on the same boat right now. welcome aboard ice. so where are we hiding right now captain ice? you know what, it just made me cross eyed to read those mile long letters of discussions. and yeah, i skip it when i first notice it and move on to a different one. don't get me wrong here (for those who have long discussion) but i just have some problems with my lappy screen so the resolutions is not that well and i need to get closer for that and to avoid it, is to hurry things around. don't ya' worry, you are not alone.

thanks for accompaying me dear. i know there are quite many lengthy discussions and it is really difficult to go through them as may be due to lack of time or may be due to laziness, may be due to some other problems but it is only meant for the people who patiently spend time to read and have more time, according to me but for the people like us it is difficult to go through those lengthy discussions and hope the people with lengthy discussions are not getting annoyed from me.

not a problem. i just felt what you've been into and we are on the same page so might as well walk with you. i think people would understand our situation and in the end, it's still our choice not to, right?

I do skip long posts those which are so long that you forget what the write is talking about. I prefer short paragraphs and that users are conscize and economic when it comes to words. © ronaldinu 2008

even i feel that the discussions should be precise and not to longer so that it is comfortable to everyone and more people can read it and answer it. for both readers and who dont like to read more , for both of them the write should be flexible and it later left to the readers to reply or not and our part of work is done according to everyones convinience.
