are you a newbie or an old-timer or somewhere in between? i classify myself as a noob still, since it has only been a little over three months that i have been here. i have yet to learn many things about the site, yet to know many more friends, and yet to share much more of myself in here.
so, what about you? how long have you been here? what things do you wish to/have learned during your stay here?

I am a total noob. I have been here (still trying to figure out where here is really!) for about 10 minutes! No kidding. This is in fact my very first post. Whew... glad I got this out of the way.

I'm quite a veteran already here. But some sort of a advance newbie still. I remember when i registered here, the top user with the most number beside his name was about 2,000. So think of the difference from that time and now. But take a look at my number, i still haven't reached the 1,000 mark. lol. I barely visit here for few months now.

I have been here about a year now. I have not been posting as much as when I first started though as I have acquired a part time job and I seem to keep getting more hours at it all the time so don't have as much time to do mylot but still check in and post a few a day to keep the account active.

i'm sure your part time job pays more and if it helps to pay the bill then the small sacrifice for not being able to participate here is a small price to pay anyways, you should append something to your name, to indicate you don't spend all of your day here. luvstochatsometimes maybe kidding!

I have been here three days, got a 7 star and earned $1.49. I think that is a good achievment. I am a newbie, but I am loving this site. I have not edited my profile yet and need to find my way around the site better, but I will get there. I am sure I will make it as an old timer as I am very addicted to it.

everyone starts a bit confused around here but you'll get the hang of it pretty soon as the site is very user friendly. and yes, you are correct to say that it is very addicting. i have lied low for two weeks because of bad connection but here i am again, staying awake till the wee hours of the morning and myLotting like there's no tomorrow anyways, good luck and happy myLotting!

Ive been here for 2 yrs now and I cant say that I've necessarily learned anything new nor is there anything in specific that i'm looking to learn about really...I just like talking wiht others about various topics and getting to knwo how others feel, see, think etc...I love to discuss things particularly with ppl of such varied backgrounds like what there is here ya know..

I joined on September 28th...Im a newbee hehe.
I said I wont be a newbee once I get to 500th post and they have the confidence in me to let me copy and paste :)))))))))))
Then I turn to a grayhaired oldie, when i'll turn 1000th post I'll be a whitehair oldie..I guess at 3000 I'll a bold one LOL

well you have uploaded a picture, i see, so i guess you already know some stuff around here. search for discussions. as i mentioned to the answerer above you, you can actually find complete myLot tutorials in some of the discussions started by other myLotters. it would help if you read the FAQs too. good luck!

I've been a member of mylot since February 2007, so I have been here for 20 months now.
The one thing that I have learned here is that it's not about the money, it's about the discussions and the fun we can have on here! At least, this is how I feel about it.
I enjoy being a part of this online community. It's the best!

I have been here long enough to see the many changes that have made this place a more attractive place to be in. Many old members have left and they left with their good ideas, what a waste, and their absence is really being felt as they are those very supportive lots. Newbies come in dozens but does not make good discussions that can appease the appetite. Far from being considered good discussions but nevertheless it will improve as time goes by. Hopefully. I have also seen many contraversial issues being aired here that really drives me nuts especially those that touches on religious issues. They are bringing in topics that can cause hatred among members here. I skip this one and would not bother to respond to them but out of curiousity I do read through them but it leaves me disgusted of how some people are not tolerant on others beliefs.

well, people differ on opinions, we can't help it. before, when i was just starting out, i lash back at those whose views i am disgusted at. but in time i learned that it's just better to shut up and proceed to the next discussion or answer. we all live and let live here, i think.

hi kayedanda I have been here 9 months so I guessI am sort
of inbetween . I do have over 13000 points as I do a lot of
mylotting seeing that I have been retired now for almost 3
years. Mylotting has given me so much, new focuss, a lot of
dear friends and a lotof sharing and caring too. I have learned
a lot about other countries and have enjoyed meeting friends
from other countries, and hearing about their customs and
their hopes and dreams too. we are all different yet in some'things we are allpretty much alike. We all have our'
problems in raising our kids, and keeping love going with
our mates,we share that human bond.

13,000 posts in nine months. i wish i could retire soon too so i can spend a lot of time here kidding. i haven't even saved up for my daughter's schooling yet. 
i agree with you in that we learn a lot of stuff about other cultures/countries in here. it's been a great experience for me so far, one that i'd like to continue in the months, perhaps years to come.
