Buying kettle corn for the microwave is more expensive, or has fewer bags in the box than regular popcorn. It's very easy to make. After popping, just add a teaspoon or two of sugar & shake the bag.

Almost every individual packaged thing is more expensive. I have not popped corn in a long time, but I have a microwave popper and just pop my own. I am not surprised that your kettle corn is just as good and a lot less expensive.

Next time you pop some, try a bit of sugar with the salt. It's addictive! We've been trying different flavors to add...cinnamon, hot salt, etc. We like the kettle corn the best.

Once you try it, it's certainly hard not to make it this way all the time. Something about being salty and sweet at the same time. Yummy!

At the movies, I always get mine without butter. Since the rest of my family likes it practically swimming in butter, I don't have to share with them...lol.

I have never made Kettle corn from scratch. But I do like the Orville Reddenbacher 100 calorie pack one.

We only have Kettle Corn that are already popped sold in the market. We have the one for the microwave. Anyways, Kettle Corn is the best popcorn so far and it's a lot more expensive than other brands and the unbranded ones. Holy Kettle Corn and Kettle Corn are just the same right?

Try popping a regular microwave bag of popcorn, then adding some sugar. You'll be amazed that it tastes just like the kettle corn, for a whole lot less.

Let me know what you think, ok? I keep thinking of different flavors to try. Next on the list is Hidden Valley Ranch dressing - the dry packet stuff. If it's any good, will let everyone know.

Yes, I love jiffy pop. Why would they have that in an antique store for? You can still buy them at places like Wal-mart. I get them for my kids because they think it taste better than that microwave kind.
