I think some parents force their child to study more because they want them to get a good education and be successful. It's along the lines of encouraging. If my mom didn't make me study as hard as she did, I don't think I would have been able to graduate college. Parents want the best thing for their kids so they force them to study and get good marks.

I hd to be forced to study when I was younger, I think it's becuase we aren't allowed to study what we wanted to. Now that I am a little older and I am in college where I can choose my own classes and career path that I want to take, I study when I know I need to. Plus when we get a little older we realize that it doesnt matter who is dating who and where we are hanging out on friday night and spend hours and hours trying to figure out how we can get a later curfew. It's definitely a age and maturity thing I think.

Every parents love their kids. They want the best for their children and want the children to grow up being able to support their own life. Parents do this because they know they won't be able to help their children when they are no longer in this world. So it is better to equip the children with enough education and skills so that when the parents die, they can die peacefully without worrying whether their children can survive or not in this world. I am sure there are no parents who want to force their children to study. But there are many kids who didn't understand the intention of their parents and blamed their parents for doing so. What they didn't know is that the parents love them, and that's why they send the children to school and later on pursue on higher education if they are capable of. If not at least the kids have enough education so that they can apply for a minimum job that pays them for a living.

Personally, I do not think force is a good way for parents to encourage or make their child(ren) do their homework. There are certainly other ways of having your children do their homework. Some are better than others, granted, but there are other ways nonetheless. All that is left is to find the method that works best with the child.

i think students don't need to be forced by their parents to study. Parents are only guiding their children and telling them to study because its for their own good..

Well, forced may be a different way to put it but I would rather say encouraged. Parents should encourage kids to study well. This is for the sake of their kids. They know the value of education and should be responsible for the success of their children. I think this is just fair. Good day!

I think every parent wants their child will have a better bright future. So they force their children to learn as much as they can.but as a child,we often can't understand their feelings. But what I want you to know is that there is no parent is not sake of their children.Do you agree with me?

They don't have to be forced, but some parents do it. It's not good to see such things, some of my classmates have had it also in lower classes. I think the reason is, that the parents stake into their children. They want their child to be intelligent, the best and not to be so lazy. But usually they are too extreme with that. I had a classmate, who got physically punished from his mother when he didn't get notes what her mother wanted. I find it stupid. Parents should support their children when they can't handle it. Not to punish them because they don't get such notes what their parents want to.
