hi. am sure most of us who are working would still go to work even if we are dead tired or a little ill. although we are entitled to get leaves for being sick, still it's a decision one makes when going to work sick. now, if you decide to go to work, do you have the habit of making others know and feel that you are sick? do you still force yourself to do your task even if you're not feeling well? by the way, colder days are around the corner, so let's all try to be a little healthy so as not to get the cold virus.

If i'm really sick with the flue or something like stomach pains i stay home. Why go to work and be sick and make other people sick.

You are right, we all tend to do that cause of love of work and responsibility. Sometimes it's good for us to let other know of our situation when we are at work so that they can give us a little consideration at the same time letting them know of the status you're in, in case of something unexpected may happen to you at work. Stay healthy.

hi! thanks for your insight. yeah, i agree that it's alright to let others know your condition in case you get a little sicker. as long as it doesn't affect others' productivity. i guess it's not ok when one uses his/her condition to get away from a task or a responsibility. my take on what i just added is, when we decide to go to work that means we are accepting the fact that even if with a condition (fever, cold, illness, etc) we still do what we are being paid for.
