Today we went out for home decoration shoppings and after that we went to have a look for a cars coz we are going to buy a new estate car. After that we went to the westfield to buy my coats and clothes. But my son annoyed me, he keeps screaming and crying! Fleppin' heck! when we are walking looking for the cars in the very cold and windy car display he enjoyed it, but when i go shopping he gets bored and hate it, he takes after his daddy, hates shopping. So does your son, always acting like that when you take them for clothes shopping? Thanks for sharing. Happy posting.

You never said what your son's age is, but young children do get bored easily. They have very short attention spans, and very few of them are willing to sit patiently while a parent tries on clothing. When you became a parent, this is what you signed up for. Don't expect him to act older than he is. If you don't like the way he behaves when you shop, find a sitter and leave him home. You deserve a little time to yourself every once in awhile you know. My 2-year-old granddaughter is very much like this. She has an active little mind and gets tired easily. Then she gets crabby and hollers. Although my daughter usually takes her along when she shops, every so often I babysit for a day while my daughter goes shopping and spends some time for herself.

Yes! I think they are just typical men. Oh it is ok if they are interesred in something for them, but as soon as it is womens things, they get really board. I suppose I am like this when my husband goes to software shops and car shops, I always sit in the car and wait, so I suppose I could not blame them really.

Yes, it's really nature of men, who don't like clothes or bag shopping specially the shoes. They always complain and hurrying you. But when in terms of thier own stuff. They spent ages in the shop. Thanks alot, he takes after his daddy. Happy posting.

YEah yeah, your son is exactly like me when i was a kid.. lol =D I dun like to tag along when my mom is doing shopping, but i have no choice but to follow.. If not, i will be alone at home with my brother, and my mom is scared that we dun know how to take care of ourselves.. lol =D So whenever we are out, i will always be running around, playing hide and seek with my brother while my mom is shopping.. lol =D IN a way, i'm trying to annoy my mom so that next time i can just stay at home watch tv instead of shopping with her.. lol =D But now that i'm older, i felt that shopping with her now, is more of a bonding time with her, and that it's my turn to take care of her ^_^ hehe

Actually my son likes shopping for the most part! Well as long as something's in it for him, lol! He's usually cool though, not a winer, he understands that he can't get everything he wants so it's rather enjoyable! Taripre$

this is a typical of baby. Basically they do not like shopping. I giveup shopping with my sons! With their screaming, pulling things down the racks or looking for things to damage, you can never have a calm mind to make intelligent shopping. If I have to do shopping, I leave both of the boys to my MIL or his father to take care.

i think it is just in his genes... he is a man and men never like shopping... including my hubby as well... when i go out to shop for my clothes, he just wait outside the store for me and doesn't even want to come into the store with me... but when he goes into the cell phone store or electrical and entertainment stores, i still go in to accompany him... sometimes i think it is not fair for me... but i can't do anything as he is a man... take care and have a nice day...

HOw old is he? Can you leave him with someone while you are shopping? It would avoid you rushing to buy clothes instead of buying at your pace. Do you have a relative or a friend who can keep your son/ © ronaldinu 2008

the men are known for their dislike for shopping. I have never inconvenient myself by having my son tagging behind me. He will not give me a pleasant shopping spree and before I can get anything for myself I end up buying toys for him to pacify him. That is the disadvantage of having a child with you when out shopping.

I don't have children yet, but my brothers don't go shopping with my mom at all. They only tag along when they need to try on something, but this happens rarely, like twice a year. Boys hate shopping because they don't like looking at things. They're very practical even in the supermarket. They just get what they need and go.

well it think that's normal...my son also act that way, he was easily irritated...he would love to go if we went to toys section...so i always see to it that if i go shopping on my clothes or other stuff that would not interest my son, id rather go alone shopping...

Oh my! my 5 year old was like that too! we went shopping for toys last Saturday and he really enjoyed it, actually the kids and the hubby enjoyed it (looking on those expensive action figures and robots and RC cars) and they never complained. Then we went to Greenhills to look for a dress for me and the minute he saw it, he said, oh here we go again, you are fully aware that I get tired on this store mom! and I told him I will just buy a shirt for him and to no avail, he still insist that he will get tired

Hello, Rainmark! Unfortunately, I don't have much resources for frequent shopping. I just go to a grocery store twice a month, that is after payday! I just buy the household stock like milk for the children, cooking supplies and some canned goods. I usually go with my husband and yes, he hates going with me. He hates carrying the basket or following me with the pushcart. He keeps on telling me, "that's enough, that's enough!" Hahaha... Why do they have to be like that?
