It's just annoying to hear some friends so concern about the way they dress and for what might other people think of what they wear..I personally believe for as long as you are wearing a clean and descent clothes, it doesn't matter what people think of you. Do you think people really judge us with the way we dress? Do you consider other people's opinion every time you dress up? Thanks for the response.

Hi friend, yes i guess people do jugde us with the way we dress. But the way we dress is definitely not the only factor how people judge us, the way we carry ourselves, the way we speak is oso factors of how people judge us. Especially those sales assistant from branded boutiques, they judge people from how they dress, whether they are wearing a branded watch or clothes. thats what i think!

Yes, appearances are the easiest way to judge someone so we tend to jusge that way. Not a good thing really, but just the way it seems to be.

some people - women especially- live to make other people look at them! how you think fashion industry became so out of control? so yes, most people judge you with the way you dress but it doesn't matter for the wise ones cause they in return judge those people with the size of their brains so they become even!

dressing well really matters a lot specially when we are goig out and on any occasions or anywhere we just think first before wearing how we look and how does it make feel others. but first of all it is our choice and we are the one who is going to wear it and we have to feel comfortable and we have to wear what we like. but considering others opinion is also required but not much and as you told the quite decent and clean dress will do and this will but we even have to think which dress we have to wear it on the different occasions as this matters a lot.

Let me be frank with everyone. Everyone one of us atleast once in our lifetime must have judged people according to what they wear. I personally believe that wrong thing to do. It does not matter is you dont have good clothes and you cant wear high and classy stuff. I have aslong as i remember have not considered ever what other people thing about what i wear. If its my life and i get to live it my way. Anyways people will look at you say some stuff and forget about 15 mins later. So in life dont consider other peoples opinion over yours.

Yes, I agree, although we are social beings and we need to co-exist with others, still we have to be independent when it comes to decision making. Thanks for the time spent.

I don't care what I wear as long as I think it's appropriate for certain function. I like to wear simple clothing and more importantly, look smart. On my workplace about 75% of employees wear casuals while I wear long sleeve work shirt and black long pants that I can position myself as an office worker working at office.

I don’t consider other people’s opinion in the way I dress. I do consider my opinion. I would have to dress for hours if I think of others opinion in the way I dress and maybe end up of not going outside and just locked my self in the house. It’s true that people judge us by the way we dress but I don’t really care at all. It is I am the way I dress. We can’t please everybody so why bother to be troubled by the way others think of you.

Sadly, people do judge that way. They judge on appearances when they shouldn't. God certainly doesn't judge us that way. I think once you get older, it's not so much about style as it is about looking clean and well groomed. I know that's an issue...because once when I was a single mom, and was out of work for a time, I had the county's health care. Our county had a contract with another county to use their hospital clinic, and I had an appointment made (by my county workers!) and drove the 45 miles to see a doctor. The doctor refused to see me, though. You know why? Because I didn't look poor enough!!!! The receptionist later told me that people who are poor don't iron their clothes. What!?!?!?! So, it isn't right. But teens and young adults do judge on what designers you're wearing. And older people judge by what they think is right according to the situation. Totally unfair.

Ya know i've never really worried about how i dress because i don't care. My friends obviously like me so who cares about people you don't know unless your trying to impress some new lady or something. But the funny thing is that at work you always hear someone in a cubicle gossiping about this and that about someone. I think it's just a way to socialize at work.

yes.Ofcourse people judge our character according to the dress..it is true that one's dress need not surely show one's character..but it is a fact that people judge our character from the way we present ourself..dressing manners have become very important in today's culture..firms never encourage casuals..there are even firms who have a strict dress code..so dressing types has important in today's life..

Yeah, some people are like that. When they see someone dress up so revealing or nerdy, they just say thing that aren't pleasant to the ear. Personally, I don't really bother what people say about the way I dress. I dress as I please, be it revealing, clean and descent or nerdy.

Yes people do that all the time. Everyone has their own attitude to dress and when they look at people they instantly judge and then categorize them by the way they are dressed. I have seen people look at me with disapproval sometimes although I am not quite sure which of the many dress codes I am breaking upsets them. It amuses me that in this day and age there are still people who openly show their disapproval of people who do not dress according to their own personal standards. I dress how I want not how others think that women of my age should dress. It is worse in country towns where they are more conservative.

some people do judge others by the way they dresses. some would think that a person wearing a skimpy clthing does libeartes in many ways but some who wears almost nothing is not really what it seems to be. they just feel like wearing one. i do wear short shorts or skirts sometimes and i just feel like comfortable weareing one but it doesn't mean i am libearted or something. sometimes i wear clothes that covered almost all my skin and i'm still comfortable. it really depends you know..

Unfortunately, a lot of people do pass judgment based on the superficial. There are some who would critique your clothes or your taste in general when it's clearly not their business. I mean, live and let live, right? We can't do anything about these types, but we can not let them affect us. It's nice to look good, but if somebody else doesn't prioritize outward appearance so much, we just have to respect that that's how he or she operates.
