There's really one thing happened to me last few months which i realyl feel so worried. I got a period and then i always used the sanitary pads and i never use the tampons ever! Coz i ran out of the sanitary pads i try to used the tampons which my mother in-law bought for me. Well it feels strange hahaha feels like there's always have a hmmm inside yours. lolz. Then after a few days, Gosh i got TSS, it was so smelly yellowish discharge. That makes me nervous. But it's alright now. Next time i will never ever use it as what the doctor advice. Do you experienced that? What kind of illness you've got before which worried you so much? Happy posting.

I have not heard of TSS before and so far none of my frenz has it.. hehe ^_^ PLus, tampon are not commonly used here, and thus i dun really know what a tampon is either.. lol =D As far as i know, the safest thing to use during periods is, pad.. And those think pads with wings, so that it can absorb without any leakage, which every gals fears most when they are wearing white or skirts.. hehe

TSS is deadly. You get it after repeated use of tampons also. If you had funny discharge, you probably got a bacterial infection or allergic reaction. A doctor will tell you the difference. I stopped using tampons recently because I have huge blood clots. If the absorption is too large, that can cause it too. Keeping that area clean at all times-sans normal discharge, and you still have a problem you need to be seen. You definatly can tell the difference between the TSS and bacteria infection. Good Luck!

I'm not sure what you had but TSS is much more serious than what you descibed. It is rash, high fever, vomiting and most people need hospitalization. You may want to seek your doctors advice. But it doesn't sound like TSS to me.
