well all lately i've been noticing something, rap is starting to tremble, more and more people are reverting back to rock, now you may ask why i think this and i'll tell you why, most rock be it hair metal all the way to contemporary made a large mistake between the mid 80's and mid 90's, and that mistake was called the power ballad, often saught to be inspirational, be it in love, death, or anything else, rock nearly destroyed itself by releasing one power ballad after another, along with producing subpar hits, such the ones seen on buzz ballads, given rocks mistakes then it's no wonder why rock fell under scrutiny, now i notice that rap is doing the same thing, well not quite, you probably won't see snoop dogg in a fright wig in white leather playing a guit.. oh wait yes you can, but that's a mach, but i see rappers and rap producers trying to make sub par songs and package them as huge hits, think about it honestly, has there been one rap album out this year where you said you actually wanted it, so in your opinion do you think rap is dying too? and why?

rap isn't dying at all its the industry that is killing the artform all together.the industry just grabs marketable people and throw them on tv.hip hop is much alive you just have to hear the talent thats out there.but,if you are fan of artists who are actually skilled theres a few out there like Joell Ortiz and Immortal technique. They both have some message in there music and go back to the roots of real hip hop.
