Truly a positive outlook. We should rely more on God Almighty in this tough times.
As humans we also have to adjust to the need of the moment to cope.
I just hope that the light at the end of the tunnel is not that far.
Happy Postings.

It is a mess, and I do not think that it will get better anytime soon. Usually things tend to become worse before they get better too. I had actually started making cuts before it all started this year as I wanted to save money to have the garden done, so I have cut down on things like weekly shopping, snacks that I buy for myself and the family. I have cut down on gas and electric and just anywhere that I can. Not much more I can do really but just hope that it all sorts itself out soon.

Hi Gem, We also cut down on non essentials. Just zero in on the basics.
Got to hold on to something for emergency cases.
Good luck to us.

My husband and I are working on building a savings account. We have some money coming to us next week, that should sustain us till then. We just hope that everything comes through as planned. As long as things go accfording to plan we should be alright for quite a while.

The latest financial disaster does not seem to affect our household yet but still I believe it should not be a reason for me to make waste. At home...it has always been a policy to save whatever we can save for as long as we are not depriving ourselves with the necessities.

So true friend, discipline should start at home. Saving something for the rainy days is the best practice.
