How long after a discussion is posted, can I make a comment?

I believe you can add a comment forever, but I could be wrong. I do know that I have made comments on discussions and realized later that the discussion is really old and there is a huge chance no one is pay attention anymore.

If it is a New discussion that someone else has started on here, you can post back to it right away once that it is started. And if it is a discussion you have started, once someone responds back to it, you should be able to immediately post back in there as well to them. If you mean the Ratings thing, you cannot Rate your Own New discussions you start. Just rate others here. Hope this helps answer some of your questions here.

I never known any such time frame. I think there is some problem with your browser. You can see add comment to a discussion immediately after posting it. If not just check changing browser.

You can answer a discussion staight away. I do not know what you mean about the sign on the right side. Was it working before for you.
