People are naturally curious creatures. And especially most of us are really curious about controversial topics about famous people. Usually we do not care about if the information is truth or false. It doesn't matter most of the time. We just want to know it all so we have great topics to discuss and argue with our friends and maybe sometimes this can also increase our self-assurance. What about you my friends, do you like to read and talk about gossips, why? Do you believe them?

I like keeping up on what people are doing but when it turns into trash talking and negativity I'm not interested!

Yes that is like me. Do not like to listen to negative and offensive talks which are not based on any evidence. I like house harmless but interested small things. Thanks for reading and contributing to my discussion.

Hi there dieorfly! I must admit that gossips tend to be very juicy that I can end up getting very curious. But I try to stay away from such as much as possible. I have been a victim of bad gossips and rumors. I know how bad it feels to be in the center of all these gossips and rumors. That is why, I do not also want to do this to other people. When I am told something, I am very careful. I do not believe it immediately until such is proven or backed up by evidence.

I work in a big corporation so i always end up hearing some sort of gossip. Most of it i try to ignore but some of it is too good to. Gossip is just a way for people to talk to each other about each other to look good. You either end up getting confronted about it or someone else gossips about you. It's either or. I just try not to believe everything i hear, especially at the office.

I think if the gossip is not offensive it is ok to talk it. As you said it is natural for people. Thanks for comment!

I'm guilty of being a gossip when I am with a group of women who are friends of mine who are also gossips. Otherwise I don't have the time or care enough to read up on famous people to gossip about them. Real life is far more interesting than anything Paris Hilton is doing.

Hi Since I'm a retired person, I get a chance to gossips only when I'm with my friends. But anyway, I like gossiping. It's good time pass for me without much efforts. I don't form an idea on the basis of gossips. So, no question of believing or rejecting it. To me it's just fun to get involved in gossiping. And just for pure fun, I do it. But yes, sometimes, I quit if I find it offensive or too serious.
