Well we have our wide screen rear projection Tv for over four years and now the lamp has burned out. I did not want to watch Tv other than the Untouchable DVds I got for my husband for his birthday. But he insisted that we use the small Tv, so I had to plug it in and now he is watching the old Murder She Wrote Now I am right here on the computer, mylotting. I do not miss it that much. Besides I can catch up on the reruns later and if not, can always wait for the DVds of my favorite shows. But then he phoned to see what the price of the rear projection lamp and it is over two hundred dollars. We have a railing that is coming in, we are getting a new couch and easy chair. It is a good thing I am getting my Canada Pension tomorrow. Do you suppose that this is the "three things and out" superstition?

I heard of the everything comes in threes all my life. I really do not know if it is true or not, but for us it does happen. Or it could be that the three most disastrous things happen all at the same time.

Everything we have a family reunion, something bad happens. I think the next time one comes up, maybe we'll just send a card and go shopping for something black just in case.

I am not that superstitious. I hope that you don't have any more bills to pay. My car broke down yesterday and I had to fork out 358 euros out of my pocket, money that was saved for something else. But unfortunately I cannot do without my car. I have to go to work using my car. © ronaldinu 2008

Neither am I, but I find that often times three things happen around the same time. and usually they are all bad. Although it depends on whether it just happens to me, in which it might be more than three, or whether I just count the three most horrible things. I did not think that getting the lamp in the rear projection Tv that all important, but at least it means that it will take longer to fix up the house and that is a good thing.

We have the money to get it done, but we have to watch our budget for a while. At least, it will take longer for the move into a plus 55 that my husband wants. But it does seem that when it rains it pours. And everything does happen in threes, for some reason or another. Hope everything works okay for you.

I don't buy into superstition, but I do understand that those lamps cost quite a bit. Almost worth getting a smaller TV for that price. I hope you get to see your shows.

Yes I got to see the shows. We already have a small Tv. I was looking into small high resolution Tvs, and the cheapest one is around $700. So I looked to see if I got enough airmiles for that but we were saving that for a trip. So that's out.
