what is the best way to lose weight?

This is not wholly correct. Your weight loss is defined by your calorie intake and the exercise you do. Calorie limiting will ensure you lose weight. 1,400 +/- calories a day for females and 1,800 +/- 50 calories a day for males will ensure a calorific deficit that does not start a famine response in the body where the body holds on to fat and dumps muscle. That is the first thing. Exercise will define what your body gets rid of. Muscles use more calories to maintain than fat does (around 15%). As such if you do not use your muscles the body will, when you are dieting, get rid of muscle where it can as it is too expensive to keep from a calorie perspective. By going to the gym and doing a good full body routine your body recognises the need to keep the muscle and you ensure the weight you lose is fat loss. This is why you see so many thing people with pot bellies. They do no exercise!

The top contributor to losing weight is diet. Divide your meals into small servings (instead of 3 big meals, eat 6 times a day with small servings) so that you could digest it better and you'll feel full the entire day. Exercising is important as well. You need to gain muscles to increase your metabolism making it faster to burn the calories and fats. Do some aerobics to strengthen your heart and you'll do just fine. Just don't expect to lose a lot in a short time. Take it easy and give it lots of time. Good luck.

This is a very good comment bby someone who understands this subject. Please ignore those who just say... do cardio do running etc... this is amistake. the diet, the layout of meals and the exercise are what will ensure your goal is reached and the point about time is very important. The fat didn't go on overnight so do not expect it to drop off you overnight either. Get stuck in and it will go slowly but surely.

Be careful with eating fruits as they contain a lot of fructose. Fructose is ok in the morning first thing as the liver can deal with it but after that the liver becomes saturated with it and for the rest of the day just shunts it on and the body has no choice but either use the energy immediately or dump it on your belly as fat. fruit is great but remember... breakfast etc is fine but later on it is a pain in the butt!

You can't be serious surely? Honey is a carb source which is good for energy and water is good for hydration. Both before exercise will be sueful. However that in itself does not equate in any way to loding fat and weight. If someone is eating huge amounts of food each day then eating some honey and drinking some water before some exercise is a waste of time. A person needs to limit their calorific intake over a day and do solid weight exercises every other day to see good reduction in fat.

Do exercise regularly and also control your diet. Exercise alone will not do. you should also control your diet. Have foods which is rich in fiber. Have foods which have less fat content. Dieting alone also doesn't work. So do good exercise along with dieting.
