Cover the victim with blankets to douse the fire, or make them lie on the ground and roll to extinguish the flames. Pour water till burning sensation stops. Cover the burn wound with a clean cloth and rush to the nearest doctor.Don't put ice on the burn. Instead, hold the affected area under cold, running water for at least five minutes. Or cool it with cold compresses. This will reduce the swelling. If it is a minor burn, then it can heal without having to go to a doctor and you can cover the burn with a sterile gauze bandage and, if required, you can have a pain killer. But if the burn is severe, then you need to take the victim to the nearest doctor and asap.

I hate to even think of burns. I am glad that I don't have to deal with it and I have no desire to become an emergency worker. If it's a small burn then one should apply aloe vera on it. Cheers!!

Reasonable advice, I would say.
