It's for the girls, mom!

Went grocery shopping on Sunday and my son came with me. We were in the produce section and he asked me to buy green beans. "Gee Cary I didn't know you liked green beans." "Yes I do mom." So last night I made green beans with the chicken and potatoes. Comes time to serve dinner, Cary says, "Mom I don't like green beans." "Cary, you asked me to buy them. I thought you liked them." "No Mom, I asked you to buy them for the girls."
Little comedian, the girls don't like green beans either!
Have your kids ever pulled anything on you like this?

Thats a cute story, though I'm sure it wasn't too cute at the time. Kids are always trying something new aren't they? I have a 9yr old daughter, what a fun age!

No, I can't think of any of my kids pulling a stunt like that. But that might me because I realise they all like different veggies. So, if one won't eat it. Another child will. I am thankful for that. My question is to you, what did you do with all those green beans?

lol..I bet your son won't be so silly to try and pull that stunt again. If anything his sisters will get him for it.

My daughter hasn't done quite the same thing but she will LOVE a certain food one week and then swear she HATES it the next.I believe it's some sort of control game for her. Her she is:

my kids do that too - or ask for something and as they are eating it "I don't like it"...
