Man Leaves Wife for Dog!

I'm watching Animal Precinct now. On this episode, there is a man who opted to leave his wife rather than part with his dog of eight years. I understand. If someone told me I had to get rid of Richard (my cat)if I wanted to be with them, I think I would leave them too. I figure he's been around longer than they were and he'll probably be around after they leave. given my relationship history. I know some people think this is crazy but that's how I feel. Friends are friends and loyalty is loyalty. It doesn't matter what species.

I think they did that because the man was still able to be admitted to his house to eat food from his fridge, where as the dog wouldn't be admitted

Exactly!! I would not part from any of my furry friends for anybody in this world! I don't care what the reason is, an pet is a pet for life, not when it's convienient for someone. Animals have feelings just as any human counter part does. Just because they do things differently, including their own language, they still feel love, hunger, homelessness and so on. I have 10 cats and 3 dogs (not by choice) and I would not part from any of them for any reason what so ever.

For me , it is depends on whom was there first. If it was the pet, then the human most go. A=But if the human was there before the pet, the pet must go. I don't own any pets but I do understand people who love their pets. So of course they would stay with their pet.

I agree. This seems like a good idea. However, I wouldn't even like someone who wasn't animal person.
