What's the best pasta for carbonara sauce?

Hey guys. I just want to know what your preferences are when it comes to carbonara. What kind of pasta do you use? I tend to have mine with fettuccine, because I can really feel the thick sauce sticking to the wide pasta. Yum. How about you guys? Have a nice day.

I like to use a medium sized egg noodle. I just love egg noodles. They are my preference over the other types of pasta available.

it has to be spaghetti .. its traditional. don't mess with tradition :)

I think it would be rigatoni because of its shape. And it is ridged to help adhere the sauce, the carbonara sauce for that matter. =)
