Gel Candles help & question

Fall Candles - These are the candles I purchased, I love the fall scent, but they just seem like such a waste

I bought these wonderful scented gel candles (see photo). The problem is... they were in glass jars and looked like large candles, however, then they burned down, at least half of the gel is still there. They had these hard clear plastic cup things inside of them (you could not see them when the candles were new) which was the actual candle, all of the gel on the outside ot that cup is a waste. So, thrifty me had this bright idea, and was wondering what you thought of it. I take the platic cups out of the jars. I place a small unscented candle maybe the size of a quarter in the middle, and fill the rest of the container with the remaining gel from all of those candles that wasted so much of the gel. Would that work? Or would it be a big mess?

i'd be careful, maybe the gel isn't flamable or it will stink, they put that plastic cup inside there so it may be created taht way. u could just keep burning candles inside the plastic cup, as they intended and u should be fine. i'm worried that it willbe a huge mess once you start mixing and transferring everythign over.

I am pretty sure it is the same gel, it still smells great. I think the platic cup is there to keep the silk fll leaves from burning, and of course I will be removing them. I'll give it a try, and let you know how it goes. Nocturnica

At least it seems like it should work, right? I am only worried about the wick size of a slim candle not workinf for a larger around candle, so I think I will use 2 or three candles for the wicks Thanks for adding to my discussion Nocturnica
