Thank you very much for sharing with us some effective solutions...I think there is a problem with your statement...you say that Stress leads to headaches and restlessness...then you have provided some good methods to overcome these problems...however you have not overcome stress as you have only offered solution that are meant to overcome the problems caused by stress. Look at the flow below to understand further. Problem A causes problem B; C is a cure for problem B; Is problem A resolved by applying the cure to problem B. Problem A is "stress" while problem B are issues as a result of stress "headaches". It is important to understand that Stress and Headache has a causal relationship and not a correlational relationship. The term 'Causal" means that there is a cause and effect relationship between 2 factors (A & B). The importance of understanding this is to apply the right cure to the right cause. As psychologist, we recommend patients with stress related problems like anxiety disorder to identify the stressors and work on resolving it. Many a times people blame their problems to stress because it is a know and common problem in the modern society. However...one should actively review his lifestyle and identify the real stressors that is the main cause of problems. Like what I have mentioned in my other comments, stress may be internal or external. Internal stressors are those that you preassume or self perceived requirement over ability. The requirement is the factor where one will need to have in order to complete a task while the ability is the self assessment of my current level. When the requirement level is greater than the ability level, one will experience stress (not fully capable to complete the task). In everyday life, stress is everywhere in our environment(external) and we have very limited control over the occurrence of situations. Some people regard the inability to control the situation as being stressful. So stress is a very subjective factor as what is a stressor to me may not be one to you. Stress is a contributor of cognitive development. When the stress is manageable, one will learn to develop greater abilities to overcome problems. Do not fear stress. Have a clear mind on whether the stressor is self induced or is uncontrollable. Learn how to deal with problems one at a time by prioritising them rather than facing them all at once. Seek help when problems become too much for you to handle. Be positive in life and remember that failure is a short-term test to reach your ultimate goal... Hope that the information is useful and do visit a counsellor, social worker or psychologist if the situation is not improving and has affected your daily life.

Stress is a very bad thing that most people have to deal with each and every day and it is very unhealthy to stress and they say that stress causes you to age even faster than someone who does not stress, and it is always good to find ways to deal with stress, and I have found that some of the things that help me relax when I am stressed is playing video games, because when I am slaughtering aliens like I do on Halo 3 it makes me tension go away, and also watching television with my fiance,or watching a movie with my fiance,or even just laying in bed cuddling with my fiance also help me relieve stress.

You are very right my friend. Stres is a biproduct of our modern fast living style. In our everyday working and family life many things happening causing to give rise of strees. Un attended stress for long time can turn into depression and disease. We should do our part in relaxing everyday.
