Just make it less wordy, and when the time that you are presenting it always remember that the attention span of people is around 8 minutes.
And if you have interactive presentation, and you have engaged your audience, that then makes your presentation a successful one.

I think the most important element for a successful presentation is for it to be short. Many presentations seem to go on forever which leaves everyone restless. Cheers!!

Exactly yes.. Now I know as to y I hated my college's presentation sessions. It was really not my fault though

Well, I give a lot of presentations and I get a lot of presentations given. There are three things that make a good presentation: 1. Research: up to date and correct numbers. 2. Format and Spelling: this is overlooked and nothing ruins credibility like these two things. A mis-spelled word can detrack an otherwise good presentation. 3. Reading the Slide and Busy Slides: When a presenter reads the slides, it makes one wonder why they are in the presentation. Busy slides don't work well either.
