Try VLC media player, that program is so small but it so powerful than most media players, supports files from normal mpeg1, avi, dvx and to the latest mp4 formats http://www.videolan.org/vlc

you are right loxion, vlc media player is the best player . it plays almost all file formats. i had problem downloading some videos, so they got downloaded half ,i could not play them on any player but vlc did the trick and i could play the half downloaded videos. vlc is the best and it is small too.

I use Gomplayer for videos if I don't know the extension. You can also use codec packs for that. It's easy to find codecs too.

One of your prev post recommended VLC thats a great idea but if u are like many of us that uses media player and hates to download a bunch of software that will just clutter your HD consider downloading codecs for media player that will allow u to play these formats. go to http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4844.html to download K-Lite Codec Pack Full 4 2.5
