Complete surveys for extra money-a hoax?

Is there anyone out there that has been caught like I have been caught. You pay the entry fee and then wait for the surveys. When they come in and you start completing them with your age and gender it immediately says that they have had enough replies of that age and gender group. Also not many surveys are sent out to you. Do any of you know of any survey sites that actually pays you or are they all just the same?

I've not had to pay an entry fee for any survey sites as all the ones I use are free to join; I've had several payments from them too so I would definitely not join a survey site that requires one to pay a joining fee.. All the free sites I use are on my blog, link's on my profile page..I'd also advise checking SurveyPolice for top survey sites and which are scam sites

Honest survey sites don't ask you for money -- they pay you. So, if you've been paying to join one of those sites, you've been scammed. There are dozens of legitimate sites that will pay you to take their surveys if you qualify. There have been hundreds of discussions right here on Mylot. Go through them and make notes about what people recommend, and you will be able to weed out the bad sites and choose some that will actually allow you to make money. Use the search box at the top of any Mylot page and enter "surveys."

I do SurveySpot. It's free and they don't have a lot of cash surveys...maybe a few each week. Sometimes I receive the same notice about age, gender, area, etc on their cash surveys and other times my answers disqualify me, but I have been getting accepted for more of the cash surveys recently. I just requested a check (yes, they pay by check) and the amount is over $20 and I still have 2 or 3 cash payments pending. It's free and I've always received my money when I put in a request... and I've been paid several times! Hope this helps you.
