Writer's Block for Poetry

I haven't written poetry in awhile. I use to write pages and pages everyday. I use to be so passionate about everything. Lately, I've felt dull and just can't bring myself to pick up the pen. Any suggestions?

That's a great idea. I think I will start posting some of my poems.

Hi buddies, I have writed a poem, Wake, awake! Wake, awake! A new light hath come into this house that was once so dark. Rise,my spirit! Arise,my mind,my body and all ye sense-slumberers! Behold the glory of light, dispelling all darkness! Let all doors and windows of this house be opened to the sanctity of sun. Leave nothing unopened, nothing hidden from the beneficent light. Gloomy thoughts shall never enter this house again, Doubt and despair will vanish, Yea,they will all vanish from this house before the light.

I experience writer's block sometimes as well, just not for long periods of time. However, I have found that nothing every sounds good when you think too hard about it. I've found that if you realize and let the creativity come to you, you later appreciate the outcome much more than forcing it.
