What's a good freeware firewall?

I would like to find a good, easy to use and configure firewall. It should be not too much heavy, coz my cpu is not esactly a fresh one ;) And should be a freeware one. Wich firewall are you using? Can you suggest me a good freeware one? Thanks

Let me suggest to you Zone Alarm firewall. I've been using it for several months now and seems like quite OK.

I'm using sygate personal firewall.Its a free version.Its very good in blocking unwanted attempts to the internet.It also shows the security status.You can block the internet connection with your firewall when you are leaving the computer.You can download the firewall from the link http://www.filehippo.com/download_sygate_personal_firewall/

Thanks for the mylot best response.That was which i said two years ago.But now comodo internet security is good and zone alarm is good.I find zone alarm best as it hides you pc from the network connections.Happy mylotting.

I always felt zone alarm a bit heavy for the computer. But is long time I not tried it anymore. Actually I'm using comodo too. What about zone alarm, have you recently used it? Is lighter than before?

I am currently using the Comodo firewall. the features are almost the same as that of their paid one. You might be nterested getting one.

ohhhh when it comes to free firewall ......I think we need to lit up a wall till it catches fire ........ha ha ha lol ...
