Moderators of myLot

I know this is an old discussion that perhaps I could have searched for but myLot searched for it for me automatically so now I am posting here. I have started a study of myLot behavior and myLot decisions. Thresholds and such. How much of whatever does it take to get a change and so forth. Anyway I will try and watch this discussion now as well and see what pans out.

From what I understand, Mylot don't have moderators as such. Their view is that we should be our own moderators, and as such keep it clean ourselves. All this is fine in theory, but to do that, we need to report questionable posts to Mylot, but do they take any notice.

You don't see many (or any) posts from them in the discussions. Maybe they just surf through the topics anonymously and at random, looking to see what's going on. I wonder how many staff members they have, not too many I guess. Maybe they have interns or volunteers surfing the discussions for violations or something.

I strongly feel that this site needs a couple of new moderators to control the spam posts here . most of the offensive/ abusing posts[with or withour referral IDs] are being reported here by many users . yet such old posts still exist here - sad ...

I don't know about this. It's mysterious... But I'll be find. It's a very important information.
