We all know there are lot of ways to write nowadays. We can write on computers, or just by pen and paper. If we write on the paper, we can use pen bollpen, pencil, and so on. What way do you like best, my friends?

I'm almost positive that I used to write my poems with a pen and paper! :) I say that because it is almost impossible now to imagine NOT always having a computer at my disposal! *LOL* I know, I know. I know that I must have sat down with a pen and paper and wrote poems as the words came to me, but I honestly do not have any actual clear memories of actually do so. I of course have the proof, as I still have copies of the poems that I wrote so long ago (that I transferred to my first computer as soon as I bought it both to have a permanent copy stored on my hard drive and because my handwriting is simply dreadful! *LOL*). But I really don't remember actually sitting down somewhere with a pen and paper and actually writing those poems down. *LOL* Oh well. Now that I have a computer, I do all of my writing there. :) It seems to me that the words somehow flow better when I am typing them out. And that it is easier to just be able to backspace whenever I want to change something instead of having to either make sure to use a pencil or an erasable pen or to have to cross stuff out and make a mess if I use a non-erasable pen. *LOL* And then when I am done, I can just hit "Save" and it is immediately stored on my computer, instead of having to make sure to put the piece of paper in a safe place and remember to label it so that I don't accidentally throw it away at some point. :) Well, that is my story. And, what a long story it turned out to be! *LOL* :) Happy writing to everybody here! :)

ACK! I *meant* to say, "I honestly do not have any actual clear memories of actually doing so.". So much for my brilliant proofreading skills! ;)

I usually like to write on the computer, because I type a lot faster than I write by hand. But I write in a journal, and sometimes I'm just in the mood to write by hand. When I do, I have a collection of pens in lots of different colors that I use.

It's fun, and it makes the journal look interesting when I go back and see the pages!

I have been writing all my life and I have been typing since I was at school. Now I combine the two and type as I write. I never could write well by hand. It just looks a mess and is full of crossing out and bad grammar. I just love writing on a keyboard and seeing the words appear on the screen at the same time as I think them. Then I can correct any errors, improve my grammar and sentence structure, delete or add words, change sentences and move paragraphs.

Not so long ago I couldn't imagine typing straight onto my computer. No. I had to write everything (article, story) in my notebook and then when it was done I would type it up. I have to admit it was a lot of work. But now, with my laptop, I just tyoe right onto my computer. I save time, yes. But I have to admit, that I find it harder to finish something that I have only in a doc file. I mean if I stop writing something and then try to go back to it few days later... It's really hard. I've never had such a problem when I was writing things in my notebook. I wonder why that is

I have always loved writing by hand and I'm very fussy about my writing instruments and the paper I use. I am a stationary and writing utensil freak. Staples is like heaven for me. LOL. I love my laptop and writing with it is very easy, but sometimes my creativity just flows better with pen and paper or with pencil and paper. I attend online college classes and so most of my writing there is done on the laptop but I take my notes with paper and pen and put them in notebooks. I just learn things better by writing them by hand.

It depends on what I'm writing. In most cases, I like to write on the computer as it is very convenient: I can edit my text in anyway I like and even write them on various different layouts and templates. It's also easy to keep what I write in an orderly manner (if I write everything on paper my room would probably be flooded with papers and I'll never get to find what I'm looking for without spending hours looking for it. ^^

I would like to write on computers most of time. Coz i always write in pieces, not a whole article most of time. Using a computer can help me save all these pieces well and compose these pieces into an article. But some times i like writing on paper. It gives me a very strange feeling when seeing my own handwriting. How about you?

I feel like write with a pencil on a piece of paper or a notebook. It will make me feel really good. I do not need to pay more attention on the words, sentences and so on. Just write down what I want to say. Of course, later, when I do not know what to write, I will modify my words.

I like different ways depending on my mood! Some days, it's to write in an actual journal with a pen and others it's to type on the computer. And even then, I have to choose whether I like to write in Penzu, or LiveJournal, or Blogger, since I have journals/accounts at all those places, which I started because I get into "writing moods" and like certain things on certain days! :)
