These women give responsible moms a bad name!

That mother shouldn't have those children in her custody! Leaving a 7 and 8 yr old home alone is bad enough, but then for them to supposibly be babysitting! I can't even stand to think about what could have happened. My daughter is 8 and I would never leave her home alone! Guess these party girls will have to learn their lessons the hard way.

THEY DO NOT GIVE RESPONSIBLE WOMEN A BAD NAME, THEY ARE A BAD EXMPLE FOR WOMANHOOD AND MOTHERHOOD. Responsible mothers will always hav a good name and will always be honoured. Such women iwll suffer the same plight at the hands of their children in their old age, after all children do learn from their parents and take the cue as to what shoudl be done

It is a shame that some want to make children grow up to fast.. I think a child should be able to grow at their own pace. These mothers didn't seem to have a care except for themselves. They should have atleast tried to get their stories straight before lying about who was supposed to watch the kids the daughter or the mother..anyhow you'd think if these people were to be watching the children that they would make sure they arrived before they left out to party.. and it wasn't the first time they done this either so I am glad the kids will be safer where they are now. Just imagine if a child predator knew about this situation not much a 8-1 year old children could do to stop a full grown man, especially if he had weapons. Shame really that these woman could do such a thing to their children no telling how many times. I also hope they find a better caring loving home.

Disgusting...ya i hope these children find better home..first off all the mother should have not have let to see other siblings and that too all in the age of ten..the mother should be punished for this act.i cant imagine letting children too see other siblings at home when parents are out..shame on them..

OMG, how could someone so self centered call themselves an adult. I have not ever left my children alone for anything. Never even left them in a car alone. Wow, this really gives responsible mom's a bad name!! Thanks for the post!

My firstborn was born in May and I just can not fathom why anyone would do this. We're pretty picky with who we leave her with, but DH has an older daughter from a previous marraige, and we feel confident leaving our DD with his almost 20 year old DD from his first marraige. She's a great kid and enjoys spending time with her baby sister. Some parents put things ahead of their children such as parties. If you can't handle the fact that your child comes first, then you shouldn't be having children!

That is terrible. I would never leave young children alone. I think some people should have to take some kind of test to be a parent. There is just too many people in this world that have children and do not know how to care for them properly.

its really true. there are some parents who are just so careless. tehy think of their own happiness like parties and all. they do not think how the children will do. all are young

What were they thinking?! Who could ever go partying knowing that your kids are home alone?! And the children are too young too!? Why didn't they just hire a nanny or babysitter for the night, right? It's too irresponsible, I really don't see why immature parents even have kids in the first place. They should be locked up and throw away the key. Whew!!!! This really makes me mad!

Yes, bad mom. I guess some kids are remarkably mature. For example, one who would call a police officer because she was left home alone. I can't really imagine what happened to that girl behind the scenes, however, and I hope the police are watching the moms carefully.

OMG! I can't believe how selfish some women can be. I know of a family member that did the same thing, she would take off at all hours of the night to go party. Her kids were 7, 6, and 4 years old at the time until one of her neighbors called child protective services and they took her kids away. The saddest part is that she didn't care that they were taken away because now she could party as much as she wanted with no worries. How's that for giving mothers' a bad name?

Leaving children that young at home by themselves is always unacceptable. You can understand how a mother in a desperate situation would resort to doing that to dash off to the store or to run a quick errand (although it really shouldn't be done), but to go to a party? It just goes to show that the ability to give birth doesn't necessarily turn a woman into a mother. Hope those kids end up with a better home.

Sadly this is happening more and more! I can't stand people that would do something like this! I also think parents that leave their kids all the time (even if it is with another adult) just to go party shouldn't have their kids either. What's the point if you don't want to be there with them because partying is more important than spending bonding time with your child and putting them to bed, reading them a story, or tucking them in at night. Knowing they are safe in bed rather than being out partying. Mother or Fathers just disgust me that are like that. How did the police find out these kids were there alone? Did one of them call or did a neighbor see the mother leave? Just curious

I don't think a child the age of 8 should watch any children or be home alone. As they do not have the maturity yet. Espically if something bad would happen. An eight year old would not be able to get everyone out if a fire broke out. I do think the children need to be placed with someone hwo can watch them and give them the care they need.

I have seen worse. I woman left her baby in a car with just the window open. That's really sick. I can't think of any reason why other women can be so selfish. If they wanna out...they might as well leave it to their friends or family members...or hire a nanny. It don't cost much.

i can never understand how any parent could go out and leave any child alone.the two oldest children arent old enough to be left on there on let alone with younger children.i also so know to parrents that do this to there children at least once a week.but with these children no one will do anything as one of there grandparrents lives close by.a few weeks ago there parrents were a bit late going out and a fight broke out between the children and one put there arm through a window they were very lucky not to loose there arm.im glad they were there then but then if they werent maybe something would have been done with these children because they do nothing but cause trouble when there mums arent there

it is a selfish ....i think.i want to be a cool man,and full of creative mind.but it doesnt work,for the work i have done cant come true, so i am very very sad.but i will do it better,no matter the rusult will be ,i will keep a strong will to reach my purpose.

First of all i agree with my fellow mylotter that said that they don't give responsible moms a bad name. Why? Sort of contradicts the responsible part doesn't it? People come across situations that make it so that they do stupid things because they have no other choice... however if it is choosing between your children and a party... dang... children no doubt are first on the priority list!! It is sad that the children will be traumatized in not understanding why they are going through what they are going through but hopefully they will be in a safer environment.
