Not really a political discussion but occured as part of election coverage. I was astounded, this was the sruff of science fiction just a few years ago. A hollogram used on cnn to bring a coraspondent in to the studio. Those who didn't watch cnn's coverage last night should check out the video in this link. http://news.cnet.com/8301-11386_3-10082802-76.html?part=rss&subj=news&tag=2547-1_3-0-5

That was really neat and I bet it took some time to get it right but hey it was neat.

CNN's always liked their tech. As others have stated, it's not true holography, but it's a step in that direction anyways. I think they used the hollogram twice. First on Yellin and then later that day with a guy, *doesn't remember his name*

I didn't have CNN on last night. I'm really liking Racheal Maddow so I had MSNBC on. It looks really cool but, I wonder if it's more like that green screen or whatever it is called. Pretty cool stuff for all the Trek fans.

Yeah, I thought it was kind of weird and unnecessary, but it's all about ratings, truly.
