One step at a time... the journey to riches...

Ever heard of the phase, "the start of any journey begins with a single step".
Well, same goes for the journey toward riches. There is no short cuts are anyway to rich the destination without taking that first, single step.
I have read so many post here about trying to get rich quick. If it was that easy, everyone would be rich!
There is no such thing as getting rich without any effort.
Even striking it rich by lottery also requires one to faithfully queue up every week to buy your favorite number. Then the fervern praying there after that your number will open in the coming lottery draw.
There is a song that just put everything I wanted to say in a very nice tune.

My journey to riches is i need to find a good job which pays me good wages. Then save alot and use money wisely, build a wise business for the future which really brings me a real money. So good luck to our journey to riches, let us know if you are successful and maybe you going to teach us how it works hehehe. Cheers.

Well, that is the plan that most of us start out with.
Once you get the job, unless you can keep going up in that job, you will end up feeling very stagnant. And once you get comfortable in that job, there is a big inertia to move out of the comfort zone.
No, seeking riches is a constant struggle. If you stop, you will just stay there and not move at all.
That is why I am working hard to get my fat butt to make that first step towards making something good with my skills.
If I do make it, sharing my success will not be a problem.

you are so right my friend. the road to getting anything you want out of life takes one step at a time, one moment at a time. it takes living in the moment and not worrying about the next. it takes knowing that right now in this moment you can start again to make the next moment what you want it to be. each step, each moment takes you to what it is you desire

Yeah, that is what I feel too. To take one step at a time. And with each step taken, enjoy the moment when that step is taken. Then look forward to taking the next one.
That is the way to enjoy the journey towards your destination.
A very important mindset to achieve when setting out to reach a goal. Something that requires some effort to acquire.

That is where planning comes in. And with planning, clarity of goal is achieve.
The next step is then to get the discipline and determination to see the plan thru.
Only then will we be able to achieve what we set out to do in life.
Of course, the lessons learned along the way will reinforce what we set out to believe in the first place.

YEah, very right ^_^ Everything thta we do in life, requires a 1st step ^_^ And the 1st single step is often the most difficult as once we have taken it, we cant back out anymore.. Thus, alot of ple are looking to quick riches without any failures.. They are all wrong..
Just like how we learn to walk, we need to take our very 1st step, and now, we are here at where we are ^_^ So the same thing applies to life too.. Dun be scare to lose and refrain ourselves from taking the 1st step ^_^ For when there's not 1st step, there won;t be any break thru in life at all.. haha

I so agree with you. I started a blog and I titled it marathon race to riches mostly because I know that trying to create wealth online isn't going to be an overnight success and I challenged myself to 12mos but the journey will and is a lot longer to the finish line, its been one year since I began my journey and its been about 9 months in the making that I'm beginning to see my payoff. An affliate program that requires one to sell?
If it is that kind, leave me out then. I am a lousy seller. And till today, after numerous attempts, I still cannot get any good downlines in any of my attempts.
Unless I can find a way to make it successful, I do not this is my cuppa tea!

Well I know we can earn extra money online but It is really too difficult base on my own experience.I tried lots of sites.Made lots of blogs and uploaded some of my songs but never been easy as what I can see right now..But anyway good luck for your plans and goals..God bless and have a nice day..:-0

Well, I never said it would be easy to make the money off the web. But it is not impossible. I am sure it can be done. So many people before me have done it. I am sure I can too. It is a matter of how.
Something that I am still figuring out for myself.
THe thing is not to give up. And to keep working towards getting your goal.

As you could read from one of my replies, I had to try several sites and make experiments. I even lost money along the way, believe me. Yes, it's never easy. But it's never impossible as well.
You're a musician right? Maybe I can help you. Do you have your songs uploaded in IMEEM? Maybe I cannot help you with sales but I can help spread the word about you. I'm an aspiring musician myself but trying to earn money from songs is not yet on my list... at least for a short while.

I guess the first step is in your mind. Be positive about money, work and richness.
Many people are not wealthy because they have in mind that "money is evil." They should keep that away from their thoughts. Money is not evil, it's the extreme love for money that's evil. People also use their creative minds to "attract" wealth into their lifestyle. The point is, when you firmly believe that you can have something, you'll get it.

That is absolutely correct, let's take it "one step at a time".
There is no easy way up but if you do it right and you are consistent with what you are doing. Sooner or later you'll realize the efforts you have exerted will bring you abundant blessings in return.
We all call it easy money, in a way that we are enjoying it but still it's hard cause we spend to much time in something yet the productivity outcome is so small. If you combine all these tasks, then surely you'll see bigger rewards in the future.

Every dollar starts from a penny.
Every penny earned today is one more I didn't have yesterday.
One penny is nothing. Ten penny makes cents. Ten cents make a dollar.... and so on so forth. I am sure with the efforts we are making now, we will eventually be able to find the dollars we are seeking!

If someone has a goal to become rich and be successful someday he must have the full determination to get it done in the future.It is true that the journey in attaining your goal will require lots of efforts and hardships and most of all is strong faith with God.Failure may come so many times in achieving your aim but this is not a reason to give up.You mustn't quit. You must be persistent.
Yes, one of my aim is to get rich. And I believe that this site (MYLOT) is a good one that will help me to achieve what I want. Although becoming rich in money will take a very long time for me but I know that becoming rich in friends here will come easily.

Yes, you are so right.
Faith, determination, discipline to keep on working at our goal is something we all must have to achieve our goals.
I am sure mylot is a very good place to get money each month. I am sure there are bigger things out there that will bring in more money.
And I am looking forward to the day where I have money working hard for me. And I am here enjoying my time solely to chit chat instead of the current multitasking between mylot and a host of other sites to make a few dollars a month!
