How well do you do with change? I am one of those people who really enjoys it. I think I could move from city to city every month and never get tired of it. Although, some people don't do very well with change, especially if they have not been exposed to change often. They don't think the can do it, so they have to be encouraged and prodded. In certain cased, even kicked to move ahead. What about you? Do you accept change well? Or are you one of those people who has to have it spelled out for you before you realize change can be a good thing?

change makes most people uncomofortable as they get used to the surroundings they have been living in. The uneasiness is natural to some and well, some like you enjoy it too.Nothing wrong with that. Hope you get changes for good though!:)

I don't enjoy all changes, some are very hard to deal with. But I do really enjoy going from city to city and seeing the different sites. And going from state to state and enjoying the different terrain. It is really amazing to drive cross country. Thanks for your response, and have a great day!

Openmindedness is a very big part of accepting change. We should all be that open minded and able to accept change, and hope that it is for the better. Thanks for your response, and have a great day!

i like stability and familiarity. i never did well with change but eventually i adapt. there is really no other choice. we have to adapt. it takes me a little longer than others to adapt but i eventually get there. my son is the same as me and hates any kind of change.

Sometimes I think if we take a look around us and see how others react it will help us to be better people, and understand ourselves a little bit better. Thanks for your response and have a great day!

I accept change in some situations. I accept change in my job and my life style. But in life matters I didn't accept. But in some situations we can definitely accept some drastic changes in our life's. Some changes can not be expectable. But I love to change city to city. Happy to share. Happy myLotting.

Thanks adihindu for your response. There are some things in my life that I wonder if I should change and don't. I wonder if I would be better off. Have a great day!

Change is something that I struggle to cope with, although I am very well aware of the fact that change is the only constant thing in this world. I can move on in a short time, but not without the so-called withdrawal symptoms. I tend to get moody for a few days as I try to adjust. Happy mylotting!

Good evaluation. I think we all can get moody sometimes especially if we have to let go of something that we enjoy. Thanks for your response and have a great day!

Change is difficult for some people. I think that is why we all like the coziness of home so well. Hope you have a great day and thanks for your response.

I tend to flourish with change. I kinda had to, hardly anything was solid for me in the years where I was becoming my own person. (11+) Doesn't mean I usually like it, but there's not usually alot of good in trying to fight change. ALOT of change, in my life at least...is neither good nor bad, it simply is. This kind, I can accept slightly more easier than bad change. Changes for the worst I go with it painfully. And for the best, I'm often wary. I don't need to be kicked or poked, sometimes my footsteps will go through change with a drag but I'll through it anyway. Only way to go, is forward, right? So happens, I'm so used to things always being different that I've grown a distaste for patterns and routine, and don't like to settle in one place very often. Chronically non-structured, is what I tend to call it =D I don't know if this new home of ours, FEELS like home, yet. If it does, I'll probably have an easier time of it. We'll see. Right now, I feel like the whole world's changing. This could be a bad thing, of course, but I'm actually looking forward to seeing what this world looks like by time I'm twenty, you know?

I think I adjust to change quite well. I've moved two countries in 8 years and even though it does take a while to settle in, I welcome and embrace the changes. I went from working fulltime to a stay at home mom and it was the best decision I ever made. Now that he is 6 yrs of age and in school, I'm back to working partime and eventually will go full time. I decided to find a job in another field to what I've been trained in or have experience in and it's exciting and challenging too (scarey sometimes but it's good to get out of that comfort zone and just give it a go!) I really think it comes down to what you make of it, and if you have an open mind and be positive about the changes, then it's easier to accept. If you fight the change and think it's not going to work from the start, then it won't.

Wow, that is quite a change, two different countries. I like going from state to state in the United States, but I cannot imagine moving to a different country. You have a great attitude. Sounds like you're a remarkable woman. Thanks for your response, and have a great day!

Wow, sounds like you are getting ready to deal with a lot of change. At least you will have had 9 months in order to prepare for it. Of course, it sounds like the addition to the family is going to be a great change. Congratulations to you. I hope all goes well. Thanks for your response and have a great day!

I'm a person who deals with change, we don't always like change, but I've learned to just deal with it when it comes my way, no since in trying to get away from it, just make the best of it and it will all be good. it's hard very hard, but when things happen we can;t change, you just have to deal with it the best you can. so I've learned to just deal with it, and make it what I can and it will work for me. and it does. That's a great attitude you have there, and it sounds like you would be good at giving advice to other folks. I like the idea of don't worry about things that you can't do anything about. Thanks for your response, and have a great day!

I really like change, infact I don't think I could live without it. I love trying new things and visiting new places. So far I have lived and worked in 5 different countries, and if I get the opportunity to do it again I am pretty sure that I would jump at it. It would be really tempting. I have also lived in 5 different towns in my own country, and I am excited every time I move somewhere. I would like to move more often if I could, but unfortuneately that would be too expensive and too complicated ;-)

I feel the same way. I like to move on and move over. I like to see different parts of the country and would love to eventually go to Europe and other continents. I am glad to see I am not the only one with a traveling bone. Thanks so much for your response, and have a great day!

i used to hate change so very much. i used to ask myself why does it all have to change so suddenly. but now.. i don't do that anymore. i like accept change. and sometimes change is for the better. if you know what i mean. sometimes you have to deal with it. and sometimes you just have to have an OPEN mind. that's what i like to do. i don't know if you all do the same as me?
