My Internet Service Keeps Shutting Off!!

This is very irritating. I am in the middle of responding to comments on Mylot and my internet service keeps shutting off. I have Verizon with Windows Live and I use IGoogle through Firefox. Sound confusing? It is. I love Google, but Verizon won't let me use it for some reason. So I access it through Firefox. But when I am on certain sites, it shuts down sometimes. I just finished restarting it three times, before I determined not to go back to that page again. I do not believe that I have a virus, so I do not know what this is all about. Has anything like this ever happened to you?
