Do you like snake

im also quite fun of snakes.. even though i havent met them in the wild, im fun of watching tv programs and see them on the cages.. there must be a reason why you are afraid... dont you have any encouters with snakes?

I really can't say if I like snakes or hate them! Yes definitely I am interested in them just like in any other animal. I am a Vet by profession and I am working for a Stud farm where we are breeding Throughbreds for the purpose of racing! Our farm is about 150 acres in area and we have many types of snakes aroundand we are encpountering with one or other type of snakes on regular basis. But in India there are only 5 types of lethal snkes and of which we have four on the farm and since I can identify all the four types I am not afraid of these creatures! I am basically interested in snakes and would like to know about them as much as possible and I discourage people on the farm, from killing a snake. I firmly believe that they are also part and parcel of ecosystem and they do also have right to live like us! Until unless the snake is not aroused by any body may it be an animal or Hman being it won't attack and waste its precious poison! Basically poisonous snakesrequire their poison not onlkill their prey to eat but it also initiates the digestion in the prey brfore it is being taken in by the snake! Thus poison is very important thing for a snake and under no circumstances a snske doesn't want to waste it unnecessarily! When ever a snake feel threat to its life then it may use this poison on the animals which are not the natural preys. So far we never had any casuelties on the farm because of the snakes, neither any peron or horse got bitten by a snake so far, so I am not really bothered about their presence on the farm. I have got a couple of Books on Indian snakes and I keep on reading this books so that I may find it easier to identify a particular type of snakes when I get a chance to come accross any! We often see snakes crawling on our lawns and a couple of times they dared to enter our kitchen too! Thanks friend ! It was a nice topic of discussion and enjoyed participating in it!

I am afraid of poisonous snakes, but not of the non venomous sort in fact my hubby keeps snakes as pets. We have 3 adult cornsnakes, one baby cornsnake, one royal python, and a boa constrictor, they are a pretty fascinating creature actually I am really into them now and even feed the baby one by hand. I will put you a picture on of my hubby with the boa constrictor she is a beauty.

no i quite like snakes and i have held many but never poisonous ones. i would be affraid if i saw one in the wild incase it was deadly. my friend has a snkae and i dont like that on because it bites! i am really affraid of spiders just like you are of snakes. i dont like to look at them either. happy mylotting
