New CIAO Policy

Ugh! I just checked my account balance over at CIAO and they've changed the rates to 25 cents per review! How annoying! I had around $17 in my account yesterday and now it's down to $12 even after publishing some good reviews yesterday. I feel like I was cheated! They should at least pay me $1 for the reviews I wrote before the new policy took place! I will send them an email soon!

Yeah, I agree with you, if you wrote the reviews before the policy was implemented then you should get the deserving amount.

I already sent out an email to ciao. Guys, if you want to let them know that what they did isn't fair, then send an email to info@ciao.com Maybe if a lot of people complain then they'd do something about it. :)

I joined Ciao recently. I also wanted to try writing reviews. But have not submitted any yet. It is saddening they reduced the rate per review. Hope you get the right amount you deserve.

That is an interesting situation you have there and I am interested also to know what the admin's feedback of your email to them. Please let us know or update us with it. I couldn't say more until knowing the other side but you have good points also.

I don't belong to CIAO but we were just talking about this very subject with sites (CrewBux) one that change their policies mid-stream. You should definitely be paid the $1 for the reviews your wrote prior to the policy change.

Hello mimico! I also heard about the ciao policy and I really expected it. I don't think that there's a site who will pay $1 per standard review forever because there are some member who can write 10 reviews per day plus they can earn from the ratings too. Ciao has many members now and it would be very hard for them to pay if the $1 will remain constant.
