I have a lot of old discussions which have very less response. I wish to make the discussion to be back to active mode, where people can see it again and response to my discussion again.

How can I make my older discussion alive again? Any idea?[/b]

there are discussions that sometimes we think are great discussions but it turns out to be not that appealling to others. i also have a simple discussion but was flooded with responses that i really find it wierd. har har har. but whatever the discussion maybe we have no control if it will be an appealling one or just the usual discussion.

Make sure that you comment everyone who responds to you discussion. Every time you comment on your discussion all of you friends will see it in the "HOME" tab. If you have a lot of friends then they should see it. You will notice that in the HOME tab there is a place that says "discussion started by your friends" whenever someone recently comments your discussion the title of your topic will appear under there. If all of your friend have responded to it already then you must add more friends.

The best way to bring an old discussion to the fore again is to add comments to some of the responses (you may have already done so but you can add more, of course). This means that the discussion reappears in the 'recent' list and has a chance of being reseen and getting further responses.
The difficulty is with discussions that have languished with no responses. This sometimes happens to good discussions for no apparent reason. You might, in that case, PM some of your friends who you think might be interested in the topic, asking them to write a response for you.

I also think the same thing too, but I haven't done anything yet to make it happen. But I think you can add a comment in your own old discussion. In this way, it would appear to the front pages again, that's what I think.
I don't know whether this is true, but if you think about it somehow it has a logic explanation. It is the same like starting a new discussion again, but you are actually posting a comment on your old discussions.

Yes you need to respond to the people who respond to your discussion. Every time someone posts in that discussion it comes back to the top of the list. If you never respond to people then it will disappear in the depths of all the other discussions that came since it was posted.
I always go back to my posts to reply to people. I cannot do everyone in a day and sometimes it takes me weeks to get back to everyone if there are lots of responses. Every time someone posts in a discussion it will come back to the top of the discussion list.
